We at Space Mask have been desperately hoping to hear something about these bleak times coming to an end. But with more than 4 million infected Americans and over 16.3 million infected people worldwide, that much-awaited end just doesn’t seem to draw any closer.
Health officials have repeatedly placed all their hope in the discovery and creation of an effective vaccine. Until then, there will be no return to “normal times”.
Many dedicated scientists, researchers, and public health officials, the world over, have been working extensively to come up with this much-needed vaccine as soon as possible. According to the WHO, there are as many as over 150 “potential vaccines” being developed globally, of which a minimum of 25 is already in the testing phase. Though the scientific community is expecting to see an effective vaccine by next year, they cannot give us any kind of guarantees.
And even when they succeed, one thing is for sure.
Whenever they do find and create something effective, it will take many months of testing, re-testing, and studying, before the FDA can approve it. And even then, it will take a few more months to manufacture and distribute it to the general public, across the USA and abroad.
According to Dr. Anthony Fauci’s most recent testimony to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee (HELP),
...(this vaccine will) not be “widely available” to the American public until “several months” into 2021.
One way or another, It’s becoming more certain that we’ll still be taking care of the pandemic-related SOPs well into next year. This includes washing our hands at regular intervals, continuing social distancing, and wearing our protective Space Masks.
And at this point, we wish to applaud our Space Mask Family for actually taking all the recommended preventive measures. Wearing a protective face mask is one of the BIGGEST public services we can contribute to during these times.
By masking ourselves, we not only protect ourselves and those around us, but we also prevent the further spread of this fatal virus and potentially save lives. Mask-wearing has thus been elevated to being a patriotic endeavor of sorts, as Trump himself has now declared it to be.
We hope you’re enjoying the many comforts of Space Mask including its exceptional breathability and softness. We are saying this in particular, since we know that these measures will need to be taken for still quite some time.
